Shopping for fabric
Thank you so much for your purchase. Now its time to go shopping and pick your fabric! Below I have listed fabric site from stores that I know and trust. They provide high quality fabrics, and speedy shipping. To complete your garment, you must pick your OWN fabric. Once you have decided on fabric, I will then be able to place your order, and begin working on your garment.
Some of the fabrics that I have found works great with my designs (and also fabrics I love to work with) are chambrays, lightweight denims, linen, and african print (ankara) fabrics. If you need assistance while shopping, please email me directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org "Fabric Shopping" in subject line. If you have another fabric type in mind, please email me and we can have a consult about more options. (please note price for each fabric has been included in your purchase, if you choose to pick another fabric, cost may increase).
Arican Print (Ankara)
Very popular, colorful, trendy, and simply gorgeous. I shop at two Etsy sites for all of my African fabrics. Please check here to visit TessWorldDesigns, and here to visit HouseOfMamiwata. Both are excellent shops, so enjoy browsing. Once you have decided, please email me with the SKU #, and shop name. If an SKU/or item # is not available, screenshooting and emailing the photo with shop name will be great.
Linen is by far one of my favorite fabrics. Its lightweight and breathable. Very much a spring/summer fabric. I order most of my linen fabrics from Fabric.com. Browse the site and once you have decided, please email me with the SKU #, and site name. If an SKU/or item # is not available, screenshoot fabric and title with site name and emailing to me will be perfect.
I'm a big fan of denim but I really love chambrays, tencel and lightweight denim fabrics. They work great for lots of garments like shirt dresses, and full skirts. I love shopping at LowPriceFabric.com for these fabrics, as well as Fabric.com. Once you have decided, please email me with the SKU #, and site name. If an SKU/or item # is not available, screenshooting and emailing the photo with the site name will be great.
