Hey everybody!! I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day! I did a lot of relaxing and....nothing all Sunday! Perfect!! Lol! I wanted to start the week off with a popular pattern that many seamstress I know call it their T&T (Tried and True) pattern. You guessed it McCalls 6886! I paired it with my new favorite jacket that I made using Simplicity 8093!
I made my jacket a couple weeks ago, following Mimi G tutorial on YouTube. If you want to make a great lined jacket...this one is a must try! It was so easy to put together! In fact, it's the first jacket I made, and I had it sewed up in 2.5 hours. I found this animal print at Joanns for a steal on their clearance table, as well as my black knit fabric for my dress!
Like I said, McCalls 6886 is a go-to pattern! So simple but cute! Definitely recommend it for beginners because you only have 3 pieces to cut. Front, back, neckband (sleeves also if you choose), and the instructions are easy to follow!
I hope you all have a great week, and I'll talk to on Wednesday!!!
