Hey everybody! Happy Hump Day!!! Hope your week had been great so far! I know I said in Mondays post that this week is all about skirts, but I had to show you this cute summer outfit that I whipped up for Justice.
I wanted to make her something quick that will keep her cool, because it's still hot here in South Carolina. So I went on pinterest and found this cute baby tunic PDF pattern by Shwin & Shwin. Lucky for me, this pattern is Justice size in a 12-18 months.
So while I was cutting this top out for me in this plaid fabric, I went ahead and cut this pattern out for Justice. This is one of my favorite fabrics, and I only have a little bit left so I'm saving it!! LOL!! To go with her tunic, I had her another pair of the Rose Bubble shorts in some chambray fabric I had in my stash.
Shwin & Shwin offer a lot of FREE PDF patterns, so if you want to try your hand a some, give them a try!!
SHWIN & SHWIN PDF PATTERN
PDF Pattern Name: Summer Tunic
Sewing Level: Confident Beginner (my opinion)
What size did you cut: 12-18 months ONLY
Were the pattern pieces easy to assemble? Very easy, and only 5 small pieces.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, it was easy to follow along.
What did you like or dislike about the PDF pattern? I liked that the tunic came together quickly, and I love that the bodice is lined also.
Would you sew it again? I will, but I will have to adjust the size of the pattern, because it's only for 12-18 months and Justice won't be in that size too much longer!! Lol!!
Would you recommend it to others? Yes, really quick and cute top to make for the little lady in your life!!!
She gives me NO smiles!! Lol!!! Let me know if you give the pattern a try, and I'll talk to you all on Monday!!!
