Hey everybody! Happy Thursday!! If you don't have your May Issue of SewSewDef, you are missing some amazing content! Plus I have a couple looks in there that you can still make if you need a quick outfit for Mothers Day!!
Today I'm sharing another quick and easy sew that can be worn to many places, even to the beach as a swimsuit cover-up. What drew me to this pattern was the cover model in the jumpsuit. I loved the fabric they chose for it, and when I saw they had a dress view, I immediately added it to my cart!! This dress came together really fast, and I had no problem following the directions.
I definitely recommend Butterick 6220 to beginners. What makes this dress even cuter is the back detail. I didn't notice it on the pattern because I order online and didn't look at the line drawing, so when I read through the instructions a saw the back has a back tie, and the pieces crossover, I loved it even more!! For fabric, I use this Liverpool Knit from LaFinch Fabrics.
Hope you're having a productive week so far and crushing your goals! Thanks for stopping by and I'll talk to you all in the next post!
