Hey hey hey! I'm soooo happy its Friday!!! I've had a busy week, but no complaints!! Hope you had a great week too!! This dress is one of the few that I've actually made more than once!! I really loved the first version I made of Butterick 6462 in a mustard viscose and I knew I wanted to make it in a more spring/summer color!! The fabric I used to create this one was a Rayon Challis from LaFinch Fabrics!! This fabric is really soft and drapes beautifully!!
While sewing this dress, I got a little ahead of myself and went out of order sewing the steps!! Big no-no!! Anyway, I noticed my front flap came out a bit wonky this time!! I thought about not sharing it, but then told my ego to sit down and get over it. Its important to share the good, and the mistakes. I make them too, but I'm not quitting, and neither should you!! Just keep learning, growing, and sewing!! I will go back and fix it, but until then....all smiles this way!!!
BUTTERICK 6462 PATTERN REVIEW:

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Some what. Step 7 is the only one that can be a bit confusing, but other than that one, its easy to follow along with.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the cold shoulder, curved hem, hidden buttons!! I love this dress!!

Would you sew it again? Nah, I think I'm done! Two is enough for me!!
