Hey everybody!!! I am so excited to talk about this dress! It's definitely one of my favorite makes this year! I think I've falling in love with the simple shift dress. They are not only comfortable, but super quick to make! McCalls 6465 is the perfect beginner pattern for many reason, but here's a few.
It's a pullover dress, so no need to worry about buttons, or zippers. The only measurement needed is the bust. I know, I was a little worried my hips would argue that, but the dress fits amazing! Depending on the view you choose to make, you're cutting no more than 6 pieces. Instructions are easy to follow, and bonus...you can have fun and show some creativity with the sleeves!!!
Speaking of sleeves, did you see the split!! LOL! When I saw Mimi G post her dress, I knew I wanted to make those sleeves! I didn't realize she posted the tutorial until late that night, but once I saw it, I didn't stop until the dress was complete! Yeah, I went to bed late that night!! Lol
Thanks for stopping by today! You all stay safe, and I'll talk to you in the next post!!
