Hey everybody!! Happy Wednesday!! I've been so obsessed with jumpsuits lately, it's kind of scary! LOL!! I just purchased more patterns Monday, and last night filled up another cart with more! My inner self is saying "girl, you need to chill", but my head is saying "I don't know when they'll go out-of-print so I need to get them now"!!! LOL!! Which brings me to todays post, and this comfy, every mom should have one jumpsuit!!!
This is a FREE Jumpsuit PDF in the May issue of SewSewDef Magazine!! I originally thought this would be a little ill fitting on me, but I was totally wrong! I love the loose, relaxed fit of the jumpsuit, and plan to make at least one more in a solid color!
It came together really fast, and the instructions are easy to follow along with! I believe PDF patterns get a bad rap, because of all the taping and cutting, but honestly, it's not that bad! Turn on your tv/music, grab a snack (in my case...candy lol) and just tape. Before you know it, you're ready to cut out fabric, and sew!!
As for sizing, I cut the size 16. For fabric, I used this striped denim fabric that I purchased from Michael Levine while in LA. My top is Simplicity 1613 that I made last year!! Love when I have pieces in my closet that I made in the past, and goes perfect with something new I've made!!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week! Be safe and I'll talk to you in the next post!!
