Hey everybody!! Happy hump day!! It's a busy one for me today! I'm packing for my trip this weekend to Mimi G 5th Annual Sewing Conference, and I am too excited! I can't wait to geek out about sewing, meet some great sew sistas, and of course Mimi!! I'll make sure to take lots of pics for you all!!
So you should know by now, that I love dresses and skirts, but my favorite dress has got to be a shirt dress! Fitted, flared, gathered, pleated, belted I love them all!! Lol!! Whenever any of the FB groups I'm in say...Shirtdress Challenge!...I'm all for it! This here is my entry for the McCalls Pattern Company Challenge.
Since it's a McCalls challenge, you have to use a McCalls pattern! 7314 is a recent one I just bought and decided to try it. I am in love with this pattern! I was able to cut my pattern pieces out the night before, and then cut the fabric, and sew it the next day!! I needed 3 yards of fabric and this Paris fabric I grabbed from Walmart was all I had! I was a bit nervous about it because its a busier print than what I'm use to, but I love the way it turned out!!
Hope you have a great Wednesday, and I'll talk to you in the next post!
