Hey hey hey!! Happy Tuesday!! How you doing?!! I hope your day is going great!! This weekend, my family and I traveled home to spend time with family! Its always good to get away and see family, even if it was a quick trip!! But I'm sure we'll be back next week for Thanksgiving!!
Today I'm talking about this comfy two piece look I made using Vogue 9275. This was one of my favorite patterns from Fall collection! It just screamed mom-on-the-go!! LOL!! The model is even carrying a tote on the pattern envelope! Its probably filled with snacks, sippy cups, and diapers! LOL!!!! Endless to say, I had to have it!!
With it been cold here now, I wanted a really great sweater knit fabric that will keep me warm! The fabric I recently got from The Fabric Store (reviewed in this video) was perfect!! I love everything about it, the color, the weight, and it sewed up beautifully!!
I made View B and View E from the pattern. I omitted the tie option on the turtleneck for View B. I cut the Large and wish I would've cut the M. Its a boxy tunic, so make sure to check your measurements with the finished garment measurements before cutting your fabric.
The pants are my favorite! I cut the XL and I didn't have to make any adjustments to them. They fit perfect! They do not have pockets but I added pockets to mine! Overall, I love this set!! I've worn it already and plan to wear it a lot because its so warm and comfy!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I pray you have a fantastic week, and be sure to come back Thursday for another DIY look!
