Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday!! Today is a little different because it's all about hubs!! I always say I'm going to sew more for my family but clearly I get super selfish!! Lol!! I'm going to try to do better though, and I'm starting with this look here I made for Jerome!
One thing I love about SewSewDef is the FREE PDF patterns that come in each issue. I can always find great patterns for me, but for men, it's not easy finding patterns I know my husband will wear, until now that is!! The Westbrook Tee is available inside the first issue of the magazine, or you can purchase it here.
The PDF came together really easy, and clear instructions to walk you through constructing it. I cut the size M (Jerome doesn't like baggy or tight clothes) and used this Terry Knit to make this outfit for him. It feels so soft, perfect for lounging and as you can see from the pics, Jerome was comfortable enough to wear it out for a nice casual look.
The Simplicity 8268 joggers were also quick to put together. I cut the size M as well. Jerome measurements for pants, are 32'' waist and 30'' inseam. The drawstring on the pattern is not a working drawstring so I omitted it. Next time I make these, I'll add three rows to the waistband. Two smaller rows for elastic and a row in the middle for a drawstring.
