Alright friends, here we go! Lets just call this Day 1 shall we!! I'll be the first to admit that I tend to start out on fire, focused, and determined, but after week two or three the fire starts to fizzle out and then the candy snacking begins!
The good news is that I've been at Day 1 before and succeeded! Not too long ago, I weighed in at 264lbs (first pregnancy)!! After that I went on a roller coaster of gaining and losing weight during all of my pregnancies! The most I've ever lost was 100lbs over the course of 2 years!! Needless to say.....I can totally do this!! I don't care how many day ones I have, quitting is not an option!
So to kick things off and begin this "get my health together" journey, I woke up early to spent quiet time with the Lord. I love talking, praising and planning my day out with Him before the day begins!
For workout, I did 30 minutes of cardio on my spin bike! I follow along with this Youtube channel for my spin bike workouts!! Because I'm trying to ease my way back in, I only did cardio today! Once I'm ready I follow the cardio up with 20-30 minute strength workout routine. I get all my workouts from Pinterest! I love pinning quick fitness routines, so be sure to follow my "fitness" board!
I made a small goal to get drink one green smoothie, workout and drink 64 oz. of water and I did it! This journey is all about the small daily steps and it felt great to let go of the excuses, and accomplish those goals!
Husband and I also plan to start working out together so yeah....y'all pray for me! LOL
