Hey Friends! Happy Friday! I hope you've had an awesome first week of 2018, and ready to enjoy your weekend! I told you in my previous post that I love green smoothies. And coming off of the holiday season, aka eating season LOL, I was ready to start back my smoothies to detox and get my body back feeling great! Plus I got a new blender and I'm loving it!
This first week was great! I worked out 4 times this week, and had 1 to 2 smoothies a day!! Super proud of myself and I'm ready to take the momentum into this upcoming week! Before I get into my next week goals/plans, I wanted to share my favorite smoothie of the week!
I basically made the same smoothie all week, and it a Berry Pineapple-Nana Smoothie. It has Spinach, Pineapple, Strawberries, and Bananas. I love these fruits together! Its a combination that I make a lot! The recipe below will give you two servings of 16-18 oz.
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of frozen pineapple
- 2 cups of frozen strawberries
- 1 medium banana
- 1 tbs. flaxseeds
- sweetener (I use truvia or stevia)
My goal for this upcoming week is to workout 4-5 times. My husband and I have been working out together and we do quick HITT workout of cardio and strength training! Another goal is to begin meal prepping my meals, and increase my water to a minimum of 64oz/day! Wish me luck friends!
