Happy Tuesday friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I'm out running errands today, and getting more random stuff nobody needs!! LOL! I still have ALL the presents to wrap, groceries to buy and more Christmas movies to watch! I tell you, they all in the same but I love watching them!! Lol!!
Today I'm sharing about my new waterfall cardigan! This is another pattern that I was in love with when it was first released in 2015, but I talked myself out of making it! Truth is, I was one year into my sewing journey then so buying patterns that I loved but wasn't ready to make was the norm for me!
I remember getting the pattern home, pulling out the instructions, reading them over with excitement and immediately getting defeated when it said "flat felled seam"! Lol! I google it, watched videos and it still didn't click!! Fast forward to this weekend and I had this cardigan done an hour and a half after I cut it out!! Sometimes all you need is TIME!!
Butterick 6244 is a great cardigan/coat pattern! The time consuming part is in fact finishing the seams but its not too bad! I made my cardigan using a wool blend from The Fabric Store!! I LOVE the texture of this fabric! I'm really excited because I have enough left over to make Justice a matching one!!
I paired it with my Simplicity 8513 bodysuit and Target boots!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day and I'll see you tomorrow for my last post of the year!
