Hey everybody! I'm so excited to kick off this first week of my collaboration with TÉLIO! I am a big fan of their fabrics from the colors, prints, quality, I really love and enjoy working with them. In today's post, I'm sharing all about inspiration for a simple casual style top. I think having simple pull on tops are great for fall because one, it makes layering really easy, but when made with beautiful fabrics, they can stand alone and look fabulous with jeans, boots, skirts, you name it!

The pattern I used for my casual top is McCalls 7630 View B. You can see below that its a very simple pullover front/back/sleeve pattern and thats just what I wanted. This top can be really special when made in beautiful fabrics or simply adding pretty trim/pearls like the inspiration pics above.  Here's some other pattern options......

  • McCalls 7809 would be perfect for #4 with the lace detail.
  • McCalls 7542 is a great option for #3 with the pretty appliqués.
  • Burda 6445 would be fantastic for #5 the sequin top.
  • Simplicity 8658 could work great for #1 by trim the sleeve to a cap sleeve.

Now to the fun part, fabrics! I love these prints that I found over on I found a gorgeous jacquard, lace, rayon....I got a little bit of everything! LOL! Here are the links below....

  1. Telio Bowie Polyester Jacquard Floral Navy Teal
  2. Telio Picasso Rayon Poplin Floral White Mustard
  3. Telio Picasso Rayon Poplin Print Floral Mustard
  4. Telio Nora Sequin Black/Metallic Silver
  5. Telio Dakota Rayon Jersey Knit Floral Denim Rust
  6. Telio Sadie Lace Black

I hope you all are inspired by these tops and fabrics! I plan to make a couple more myself because although I like a nice basic knit tee with jeans, easy tops made in some fabulous fabrics and details are what I love most!

Come back Wednesday to see the full look of the top I created for this collab! Until then...
