Hey everybody! I am so excited to share that I’ve started to learn machine embroidery! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be learning something new that I can create and add a little more personality to my garments! I’ve already dived in, and started practicing and actually got a couple projects done! Some were good, some were well…. a learning experience LOL! Either way, lets chat about the two that I actually turned into project/garment.
For the first project, I wanted to do was make a bag for Justice to carry her things in for gymnastics class. So I went looking through my pattern stash and came across McCalls 7884 and decided to go with it! This was actually my first tote I’d ever made and it was SUPER easy! I was surprised at fast it came together! This flamingo embroidery design is from Embroidery Library.
I created my first video sharing about my first projects and really just to document my learning journey with this! I had some awesome feed back with stabilizers, threads, needles, etc., from my viewers, so if you’re new to machine embroidery, or considering buying an embroidery machine, click below to watch my video!
Thank you so much for watching! Until next time…
