Hey y'all, Its Thursday!! I feel like this week kind of flew by!! How about you? It was a great week, that even included an interview on That Sewing Blab!! Thank you so much if you took time to watch it live, or the replay!! I was crazy nervous! I mouth wouldn't stop shaking! LOL!! And lets not mention my children in the background!! My goodness! Tell me why my mom was watching and text me DURING the interview "to tell the children she was going to get them!!" LOL!!!
Today, I'm sharing with you all a pattern that was released it think last Fall. I didn't see a lot of ladies make it, and I'm assuming it had something to do with attaching the flounce. When I first bought it, I wanted to make it right away, but after reading steps 5-8, I pushed the instructions back in the envelope and quickly moved on!! LOL!
Last week, I came across McCalls 7243 again, and decided lets give it a go! It took a bit of reading to fully understand, but honestly its not as difficult as the guide makes you think. You're simply doing a flat felt seam within those few steps. Don't worry I have a video for it coming up next week to walk you through it!
As you can see, the wind would not let me be great during this shoot, but the smile stayed intact!! Thanks for stopping by today y'all!!
