Off The Shoulder Shirred Top + Culottes: Sew It Academy
Hi everyone! I’m super excited because today a new course just went live in Sew It Academy and it’s for this shirred top! If you don’t know about Sew It Academy it was founded by Mimi G Style. It’s an online sewing and design school focused on teaching anyone to sew at their own pace for an affordable price! I’m so grateful to be about to teach in the Sew It Academy alongside Mimi G Ford and Norris Danta Ford.
Front Tie Floral Dress: mccall’s 8084
Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well! Today we are going to be talking all about my version of McCalls 8084! When I saw the pattern for the first time, I thought it was so cute! I really liked the different variations for the sleeves and length. I’d been holding on to this floral Rayon from LaFinch Fabrics for a couple months and thought it would be great for the dress! This week I’ve started homeschooling our children and while this is something I’d started to research a month ago, having to jump into it immediately without full preparation was overwhelming to say the least! Lol! Each day is getting better though and one thing thats helped me was getting dressed.

Hey everybody! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent my weekend like I usually do, relaxing with the family and doing some sewing! I was able to finish a shirtdress (just needs buttons) over the weekend so I’ll be sharing that soon! Today I am sharing a jumpsuit I finished up last week! I love the way it came together but let’s get into my review because as easy as it was, I had to do a few things over!!!!!
Black Cheetah Rayon Dress: vogue 1652
Happy Friday!! It feels so good to have something sewn that I can share! Lol! It seems like months have gone by since I’ve made something (dramatic, I know lol)! Okay, not months but weeks! I am really excited about this Leopard print dress. I bought this Vogue pattern a couple weeks ago and I just loved this dress! I recorded it in a pattern haul and well, let’s just say, some of y’all weren't convinced! Lol! I hope you see what I saw in it! Let’s get into the details!
