When you’re stuck in a sewing rut, a quick sew project is what you need to get back to the machine. Ask me how I know! I’m pulling myself out of a sewing rut and this pattern was perfect! Only two pattern pieces and you’re left with a cute top that’s great for spring and summer!
cotton tiered gathered dress: simplicity 9702
Back with a new project and I finished just in time to wear for Mother’s Day. This is a repeat pattern (S9702) for me and I’m so happy I made it again. The first dress I rarely wear because I didn't adjust the neckline (see it here) but I did adjust it for this dress and I love it.
olive trumpet hem dress: vogue v2064
When I first saw this dress, I loved it! I saw a similar dress at Target and knew I was going to make it! I love all the seam lines on the dress and I think it’s really flattering. Let’s jump into the details because I’m excited about this one!
pink jumpsuit: vogue 1994
Hi friends! Today I am sharing a jumpsuit that I started working on at the beginning of February but finished at the end of March lol! I shared in my newsletter that February/March turned out to be some busy and overwhelming months so this project had to sit for a while. I lost my excitement for it and almost didn’t finish but I decided to prioritize it with a little #sewin30 last week and I got it done. I love this jumpsuit so much!

Today I am sharing a coat that I started making almost 2 years ago! I loved this deadstock wool fabric when it first arrived at Melanated Fabrics and had to have it! The color is everything!!! I knew I wanted to make a simple oversized coat so I reach for Simplicity 8797!
