Stretch Velvet Valentines Dress: mccalls 8174
Hey friends! Its Valentines weekend! Do you have plans? Hubs and I were planning to go with close friends to Lake Havasu but we had to cancel due to work so we’re just gonna enjoy a nice quiet dinner together! I don’t know if I plan to put this dress on for the dinner since our plans changed but….. I did make it for Valentines Day so I might as well wear it, right?!
Royal Blue Raglan Sleeve Dress: mccalls 7574
Hey friends! It’s Saturday so that means I have errands to run! When I’m going out to get multiple things done, I’m trying to be as comfortable as possible! That usually means jeans/overalls, t-shirts, and sneakers. Today, I’m going out in my new McCalls 7574 dress! It’s just as comfortable and cute for today! This pattern is an old one.

Happy Thursday friends. It’s Friday Eve!! Lol I’m so excited to finally share with you all my first coat of 2021! Its always fun to sew something I don’t make a lot of and for me thats coats. I mean I do live in California, so coats aren’t really required LOL! Light jacket yes, coat…NO! But I wanted to make one anyway, so I did!
Black & Lime Stripe Top: mccalls 8001
Hey friends! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was great! I took time to sew and relax this weekend, and it was much needed! Today, I’m sharing my latest sewn project and it’s McCalls 8001! I did a sewing plans/pattern preview on my Youtube channel for this last week, so I’m excited have it finished! Did I have to wake up at 6 AM yesterday to finish sewing/recording it and then hurry outside to take pics before daybreak……yes, but I got it done! Lol! Let’s get into the details of this top!
Floral Wrap Dress: mccalls 7893
Happy Monday friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! Today I’m sharing with you my latest project! It’s one where the fabric basically picked the garment! Lol You ever have a fabric to do that? You just see the fabric and immediately know what you’re going to make with it! Yeah, that’s what happened here when I saw this fabric! I just love it! The colors are gorgeous and this lightweight knit is perfect for many garments like a great wrap dress!

Black Gauze Tunic: mccalls 7969
Hey everybody! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! I truly enjoyed my time with my family! We relaxed, watched movies, opened presents, ate a nice dinner, and had a great day together! It was perfect! So perfect I decided I’m just let the Christmas tree stay up to maybe February…..why not?! Lol!
Tencel Scuba Faux Wrap Dress: simplicity 9175
I whipped up this Simplicity 9175 pattern about a month ago. Although its a simple dress, I really liked the faux wrap detail on the front. I made the dress using this Tencel Modal Scuba from Melanated Fabrics. This fabric is so soft and its a great stable knit fabric. Think Ponte but lighter and softer! I love it so much!
