Hey Friends! Welcome back to the blog! Today I’m sharing my version of Sew To Grow Sydni Shirtdress pattern. First I have to give a special thanks to Rebecca to gifting me this pattern. If you love shirtdresses but not fifty ‘leven buttonholes and buttons you’ll love this pattern. It sews up really easy, in fact, I whipped this up in 2 hours, it’s also very versatile. From a top to a dress, patch pockets, side pockets, tie, with or without a collar, you can really do a lot with this one! Let’s get into the details.

I don’t know what prompt me to make shorts yet alone faux leather shorts, but I’m so glad I did! It’s fun to make something outside of your norm every now and then. I made these shorts using McCalls 8118 and they were really quick and easy to whip up! Let’s get into the details.

It feels like weeks since I’ve shared something new so I’m happy I have a great dress to talk about! I’ve said it many times before but I’ll say it again for my new friends! I love dresses especially wrap dresses! I think they are so figure flattering and really easy to wear and transition between seasons! This dress is no different! I can totally see myself wearing with heels, flats, and sneakers! It’s gonna be a go-to pattern I’m sure! Let’s get into the details.

Hey friends! Its Valentines weekend! Do you have plans? Hubs and I were planning to go with close friends to Lake Havasu but we had to cancel due to work so we’re just gonna enjoy a nice quiet dinner together! I don’t know if I plan to put this dress on for the dinner since our plans changed but….. I did make it for Valentines Day so I might as well wear it, right?!

Hey friends! It’s Saturday so that means I have errands to run! When I’m going out to get multiple things done, I’m trying to be as comfortable as possible! That usually means jeans/overalls, t-shirts, and sneakers. Today, I’m going out in my new McCalls 7574 dress! It’s just as comfortable and cute for today! This pattern is an old one.

Happy Thursday friends. It’s Friday Eve!! Lol I’m so excited to finally share with you all my first coat of 2021! Its always fun to sew something I don’t make a lot of and for me thats coats. I mean I do live in California, so coats aren’t really required LOL! Light jacket yes, coat…NO! But I wanted to make one anyway, so I did!

Hey friends! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was great! I took time to sew and relax this weekend, and it was much needed! Today, I’m sharing my latest sewn project and it’s McCalls 8001! I did a sewing plans/pattern preview on my Youtube channel for this last week, so I’m excited have it finished! Lol You ever have a fabric to do that? You just see the fabric and immediately know what you’re going to make with it! Yeah, that’s what happened here when I saw this fabric! I just love it! The colors are gorgeous and this lightweight knit is perfect for many garments like a great wrap dress!
