The Rome is designed for woven mid-to-heavy bottomweight fabrics like denim, twill, or canvas for the main fabric. For the lining, woven lightweight fabrics like quilting cotton, or cotton broadcloth will be ideal.
To add structure to the fanny pack, fusible interfacing like Pellon 808 Craft-Fuse or an interfacing of your choice, can be applied to the main pattern pieces.
Fabric requirements are the same for 45”/115cm and 60”/153cm wide fabrics. Allow extra fabric for directional prints and be sure to stitch them so they go in the same direction.
Main Fabric: 0.5 yards / 0.46 meters
Lining: 0.5 yards / 0.46 meters
Optional Interfacing/Batting: 0.5 yards / 0.46 meters
