my new early spring pattern: know me me2013

Hi friends! It’s here!! My new Early Spring Know Me ME2013 pattern is LIVE!! For my second pattern, I wanted to make a knit set! I love patterns and garments that I can wear throughout the year and while the top on this pattern is cropped, it can go through Spring/ Summer and take you into Fall with a nice blazer or cardigan! Lets get into the details….

details

This pattern features a knit top and skirt set with square or scoop neckline and sleeve variations plus a high waist skirt in two lengths with asymmetrical button detail. The button detail is my absolute favorite! I love it so much and love the option of simply leaving the buttons and buttonholes off. Using contrasting fabric is also an option too! The bodice is lined to have clean finish around the neckline and it has princess seams to add more shaping to the top! I just love it y’all.

I know crop tops is not everyones cup of tea but keep in mind that you can hack this into a dress and I plan to do a sew along for that soon!

size

For size, I cut the size 18 in the top and the 22W in the skirt. I did not make any other adjustments to the pattern.

fabric

The fabric used here in this post is a mid weight rib knit. On the pattern envelope, the white fabric is a Textured Liverpool Knit and the pink is a Scuba Crepe.
