Hi friends! Hope you have a great weekend! Today I am so excited to be joining Madalynne Virtual Tour for her first book: Sew Lingerie by Maddie Kulig. Maddie and I met a couple years ago and she is such an inspiration to me. I love her story from starting her blog, to how she’s expanded her brand to offer patterns, kits, RTW lingerie, and now….a book! Let’s get into the details…

If you are an experienced sewer or completely new to sewing and just curious about lingerie, this is the book for you! Maddie has included everything that you need to know from the history of bras, to the tools and best fabrics, to how to make adjustments and more! What I love is that this book is not only for lingerie. Maddie also covers swimwear and activewear need to knows as well.

I personally don’t sew a lot of lingerie, but the bralettes that I have made, have all been from Madalynne Intimates. I can confirm that Maddie is not only extremely knowledgable but she teaches and includes everything you need to know to empower you to sew lingerie.

With this being the holiday and gift giving season, this is a great gift for the sewing loved one in your life. Even if it looks like they aren’t into sewing lingerie, having the knowledge could spark a new passion and open a creative door they didn’t know they’d enjoy. In addition to covering all the basics, this book also includes 11 (total) bra, panty, bodysuit, swim and activewear patterns!
